I am a dedicated psychiatrist and psychotherapist who offers compassionate and individualized therapy services. My services
Psychiatric diagnostics
I want to take the time to understand you and your personal situation. For this, the conversation with you is the most important thing for me. I therefore plan at least an hour for the initial consultation. Additional diagnostic instruments such as standardized interviews and questionnaires can then be used. Additional technical examinations (e.g. EEG or magnetic resonance imaging) may also be necessary. We will discuss this in detail.
ADHD diagnostics
Do you or those around you suspect that you may have adult ADHD? Then you can have this clarified during my consultation hours. Please note that we need several appointments for a thorough ADHD diagnosis. Please speak to me in advance about the costs if your health insurance does not cover them! I will discuss with you personally which additional tests are required in individual cases (e.g. laboratory, EEG or MRI if necessary). In addition, other diagnostic instruments such as standardized interviews and questionnaires can then be used. Additional technical tests (e.g. EEG or magnetic resonance imaging) may also be necessary. We will discuss this in detail.
Psychiatric treatment
In my psychiatric treatment, it is important to me to first explain to you in detail the underlying clinical picture and its neurobiological and psychological connections so that you can become an expert yourself. Together we will then look at your personal situation and see where changes in everyday life can improve your mental well-being. Medication (psychotropic drugs) can possibly be a support in this process. We now know that certain psychotropic drugs promote the "self-healing powers" (so-called neuroplasticity) of the brain. So it is not just about short-term relief of symptoms, but about sustainable recovery. I will explain the advantages and risks to you so that you can make a conscious decision for such treatment. In addition to the classic psychotropic drugs, I would also like to inform you about alternative forms of treatment (e.g. herbal medicines), mindfulness and relaxation exercises and meditation.
Individual therapy
My individual therapy sessions are designed to address your specific concerns and help you overcome life's challenges. Through a collaborative and supportive approach, I want to empower you to overcome obstacles and live a fulfilling life. I work with various therapy methods, in particular (cognitive) behavioral therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) according to Marsha Linehan.
Group therapy
In group psychotherapy you have the special opportunity to learn from other participants and to try out new things directly in the group. It can be fun and exhausting. I usually have a personal preliminary discussion with each individual participant so that a trusting and open atmosphere can be created in the group. I offer groups for different topics and indications, e.g.: - Depression - ADHD - Borderline (DBT skills training) - Relatives groups (e.g. borderline, ADHD) - Resilience (emotional and mental resilience) Current groups and information on the process can be found under News. Neurofeedback
Tailor-made therapy for your individual needs! Modern ILF neurofeedback techniques to improve brain function and mental health, including in the supportive therapy of ADHD, dream disorders, depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and chronic pain.

Individual support and personal growth
I believe in providing individualized care to each client. My customized therapy sessions focus on your unique needs and goals, allowing for a tailored therapeutic experience.
In order to be able to leave old patterns and grow, we sometimes need someone to point out to us that we are doing things in autopilot mode that are not good for us and that we no longer want to do. This is also important to me in my role as a therapist. I want to support you in growing personally!

Free telephone consultation
I offer a free telephone consultation every Thursday from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
You can reach me here to clarify general questions, for example, about the therapy process, what to expect from an antidepressant, or the steps involved in an ADHD diagnosis. To ensure that multiple participants can ask their questions, each individual consultation is limited to 10-15 minutes. Important: This is not therapy. Nor can this free service be a substitute for individual psychiatric or psychotherapeutic treatment.

Virtual Reality (VR)-based psychotherapy
In VR-based psychotherapy, clients immerse themselves in a simulated environment using a VR headset. These virtual worlds can be specifically tailored to the therapy goals, ranging from relaxing natural settings to anxiety-provoking situations that are to be addressed under controlled conditions.
In this way, therapy goals and relevant challenges can be addressed efficiently, e.g. for:

The practice is located directly opposite Pasing train station and is easily accessible by public transport (bus, tram, S-Bahn, regional and long-distance trains). There is a large parking garage within walking distance in the Pasing Arcades (also directly opposite).

My practice is an appointment-only practice. Please only come to my practice with an appointment (or about 5 minutes beforehand). I cannot see you without an appointment!
