Practice for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy,
Supervision and Coaching

It's me
"Psychiatrist? Never!" I thought as a teenager, without knowing what the field really meant. I wanted to study medicine, chemistry and psychology (and a few other things) to understand people's lives and behavior. Luckily, I then came to my senses and started with just medicine.
And today I know that the profession of psychiatrist allows me to take an incredibly holistic and comprehensive approach as a doctor, perfect for my diverse interests...
Meine Geschichte
I was simply thrilled by all the fascinating things I was able to learn during my medical studies! I particularly enjoyed the natural sciences and now I understand them much better than I did at school! After an exciting doctoral thesis in molecular biology, I knew that as a doctor I wanted to explore not only the body and its diseases, but also the human soul.
My first job at the Max Planck Institute for Psychiatry in Munich was an absolute stroke of luck - almost 10 years full of discoveries on my way to becoming a psychiatrist! During my specialist training, I learned a variety of psychotherapy methods, and I was particularly enthusiastic about Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)! It enables me to work with my clients on an equal level and be authentic in the process.
As a psychiatrist, it is very important to me to offer you holistic treatment that includes both conventional medical and alternative approaches - in each case the whole person! I look forward to getting to know you!
